James Henderson - blog post 2: week 10
I did make mistakes in my project and its mistakes that I don't attend on making ever again. I did a lot of modeling and not enough texturing which is important when modeling. Some of the environment I did not get done, but I want to continue to work on this in the future. I hope to learn from all my mistakes and be the best that I can be.

I feel really good that its all over. I did what I had to do and presented my project. I do admit it was a challenge for me, and I can honeslty say that I enjoyed the project. I learn a lot and I feel that my skills have gotten stronger. If I keep pushing myself to the limit with my projects I know that I will get better and better as I go.I am happy with my success and I attend to be the best at my modeling project.

James Henderson - blog post 2: week 9
I feel that I am close to being done with my project and wrapping everything up. I feel that the more I work on it the more ideas flow through and I get off focus of what I really need to and that is to texture. I need to texture more objects and stop modeling. I should have been done with modeling a long time ago, and the more I add to it the more work that is, but honestly I think I can make it better and better the more time I have with it. My mission is to do a lot of texturing and do my fly through video, so I can be ready on the final day.

James Henderson - blog post 1: week 9
I feel really pressured right now. I am happy with the train station and I have recently worked on the outside of the station. The outside does look better and thanks to my instructor. I feel that my project is getting better and better, but there is still so much I have to do. The final week is next week and I have to get my texturing done. I am proud of the layout and what it has been become, Most of the station I never thought would have been made. The outside is looking better and now I need to work on the inside of the building.

James Henderson - blog post 2: week 8
This week I have done a lot of texturing, mostly on the train. The texture are coming out alright, they could be better, but I am not that good of a texture person, so this project gives me a working challenge on texturing. I still much texturing to do and I am about to wrap up my modeling, hopefully by next week I will be finish with the whole thing.

James Henderson - blog post 1: week 8
This week I starting doing a lot modifying to the train station. I am trying to finish the modeling and start texturing everything, but I keep adding more and more things to it. I believe I am really starting to over do it a little and I need to relax. I know I can get this done, but its a lot of pressure trying to make this work. The texturing will thake the longest to do, so I want to only work on textures, but I keep modeling more and more and not getting enough textures done. I plan on ending the modeling this week and hoping to get back on track with where I need to be, and thats my textures.

James Henderson - blog post 2: week 7
My agenda for the rest of the week is to get some of the insides of the station done and texture the train. I have added a lot more assets to my train station and now its looking really good. I feel that there is so much I can do to it, but with so little time, I have to work with what I can.
James Henderson - blog post 1: week 7
My train station is going very well right now. I believe my one problem with it is I keep adding more things to it. I would work on my project and keep adding things in the train station, when I am trying to texture it. In the beginning I said I wanted my project to look really good so I can display it some day. I done have that much to do, but I am completely lost with my milestones. I don't know where I stand with the milestone considering I keep adding in new things everytime. So far I like the model train station and its turned out better then I thought.I hope to work on it some more during the final weeks and hope I can finish it.

James Henderson - blog post 1: week 6
I stop working on the modling for a bit and started working on the textures for the inside and the outside of the station. The Train Station is coming out really good for now, and the textures that I have added into looks good on the station. My instructor suggested to me that the building should be stainless steel so it can flow with my futuristc look. I still need to work on the insides for just a bit, but I believe that I am at a good point with the oustide of the station. I will continue to work with the textures and and seeing what I can do with it. Most of the assets will be unwrapped and polished for the final.

James Henderson - blog post 2: week 5
Like I said the modeling is taking longer then I expected. I want the project to look real good for later. I hope that the textures will come out good and I will have the layout to a perfect state.
James Henderson - blog post 1: week 5
I am in a better mood than I was last week. I feel more confident in the station now that things are starting to look up. I have worked on the outside and now I am working on the inside of the station. I need to begin finishing the model, because I have a lot of texturing to do and that will take the longest. I don't know what kind of textures I will apply on the station right now. My problem is I keep adding things to the station and adding more work on me. I need to be done modeling and start texturing the layout before time is up. The inside is coming along and better then I expected. I hope to finish it in time and present on the final day.

James Henderson - blog post 2: week 4
As I said I got sick on thursday and I couldn't work right. I soon realized for the doctor that I am not eating right or sleeping either, and I knew it would catch up to me. I am at a stressful point in my life. I have to make my train station a good one by the end of the term, no matter what.
James Henderson - blog post 1: week 4
This has been hell for me. I have to much going on and I got sick and had to go to the doctor. As far as I am concern, nothing is really going right for me. I was working on my project, but then I had got sick on Thursday and it ruined my day. I am not a 100% right now, but I was able to work on the insides a bit. It really upsets me that I can't do what I had plan to do. As I say before there is to much going on right now, that I can't do my work right. I really feel the pressure with this project and I don't have much time to get this project done. I been confident in my work from the beginning, but now things have changed a lot. I want this to be a good project, but at this point I don't know what to think or do anymore. All I can do is pray that I can do this and not lose my cool.

James Henderson - blog post 1: week 3
My train project is hitting a lot of bumps. I really thought I had this all worked out, but it seems that I am in a bad spot. I set a date line for myself to have the outdoor building made and then work on the indoor and assets. I knew the project was going to be hard, but I believe once again I over did it. The problem with me is that I am putting to much pressure on myself and thinking that no matter what I do, people are not going to like it and that angers me much. I wanted this to be perfect, but right now I don't believe this will be the way I though it was going to be, and thats a heart breaker to me. I am still working on my train station and I can only hope and prey that it comes out good. I am starting to get the feeling that I worry to much and it messes with my work all together.

James Henderson - blog post 1: week 2
It has been a very stressful week for me and I have much to do. The project I am working on in SGP is kyoto train station in japan. I realized that this is going to be a difficult project and there is so much pressure on me, because I have to make this the best project I ever done. I want this to be good, but at the same time I am worried that it won't be good. I have started on the station and made the front part of the train station, with the entrance door. It is important for me to get this right and have it make sense. I am happy with the way it is turning out so far, but I still have a lot of work to do.

Project 1 - Concept; Post 2
I have my basic Idea for my project, I think I will put a story behind it as well. My idea is to go into studio max and see what I can do to get a good layout. I realized that this project is not going to be easy and it will take a lot of time to complete.I like to say that I am good at 3d modeling and this will be one of my biggest challenges I ever had to face in studio max. My plan is to get the layout first and then start modeling so I will know what I am doing. My idea is the Kyoto train station in japan and it is a very huge station. The structure of it caught my eye and I wanted to take this station and see what I can do with it. At this point I am just making the layout and then I can begin modeling and hope I do well.

Project 1 - Concept; Post 1
The project I am doing is based on 3d modeling project. I plan on making a kyoto train station in japan and make some trains. I have most of my reference from the the building, but I plan on making a building similar to the Kyoto. I would consider myself a 3d modeler and this project would be good for me, because its a challenge for me and this would be something I never did before. I decided to challenge myself and try to make this model work. The whole frame of the building has tons of steel to it and lots of props. I chose the train station, because I wanted to do something that is rarely done. I chose to work with the Kyoto train station, because it is more hi-tech then any other station and the trains are bullet trains. I was impressed with the whole frame of the building and how huge it was, I felt that it was very unique then any other train station.
The Target Audience for this project would be 18 & up. I want people to see my work and know that 3D modeling is for me. I want to be good at this and have this big project help me in my career goals. I believe that the skills I would need for this project not much, but to know the program and the get it in the perfect angle and measurments. I have looked up some angles of the kyoto building and got some ideas, and I figure the japanese always make good stuff, so there designs would be a perfect challenge. I also got a blueprint layout of the building to see what to put in it as well.
